US
Sunahs Crisis Team is a community interest company (CIC) that has been helping the vulnerable and disadvantaged in the community of Brent, providing healthy and nutritional meals since the beginning of the pandemic and have expanded our services in sports, therapy, creativity and wellbeing.
MISSION & HISTORY.
We have been providing food and meal support to a growing number of people within the Brent area and have witnessed the adverse effects COVID-19, the pandemic and the Cost of Living Crisis has had on the community, either through mental, physical and financial burdens.
Our aim is to alleviate these issues and fuel the vulnerable in the community through food deliveries and empower them to transform their lives through healthier and more nutritional food and activities. We think this is highly important during a time when non-nutritional and fast food is so accessible. We also want to work with the local community, VCSO’s and partner with local organisations that we can work with together to build a more resilient community, through training, volunteering and learning essential life skills like cooking, keeping fit and wellbeing for mind, body and soul. Together we believe we have the power to help others fulfil their potential.
